To care for your natural fiber items, avoid direct strong sunlight to prevent UV damage to the textured fibers and dyes. Brush wool fibers regularly to help maintain the quality and texture of the materials. Please do not store in wet or damp conditions. Spot clean light stains or soiled areas with a damp cloth and gentle wool detergent. If more thorough cleaning is required, we recommend professional dry cleaning. Natural sheepskins may be washed by hand or machine in cool water using a wool safe detergent on a delicate wash cycle. Machine and hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural fibers and leather pelts. For items with fabric backing materials, please dry clean only. Hang on a line or lay flat on the floor to air dry natural sheepskins, when needed. Please avoid drying in direct sunlight. During the drying process, it is important to regularly stretch the sheepskin to prevent excessive shrinking and to maintain the shape. Do not tumble dry, iron or bleach. Wool may revert to a natural, curly texture after washing. We recommend brushing with a wire wool comb while the item is still wet and after it has dried to help restore the fluffy appearance of the fibers.
