Join Us For Summer Fun At Kathy Kuo Home Southampton

In 2021, we had a blast with amazing in-store events and partnerships with brands a special guests like Tricia Foley, Neely & Chloe, Indie Lee, Tate’s Bake Shop, and more. This summer is going to be no different–we already have a very fun schedule of in-store events coming up in Southampton with more details and additional happenings in the work to be announced later in the summer.

All Month Long: Grounded in Gratitude with Southampton Fresh Air Home 

For the entire month of June, 2022, our Grounded in Gratitude partner is Southampton Fresh Air Home–this means that we will be donating a percentage of in-store sales to this worthy local charitable organization! SFHA is a not-for-profit residential center offering summer camp sessions and year-round programs for children and young adults with physical disabilities. Their mission is to provide an enriching, recreational and educational experience to all they serve.

Sunday, June 12 at 10am: Morning Workout with Hamptons Wellness on Wheels

Join us for an invigorating morning workout event with our friend Sara Coletti from Hamptons Wellness on Wheels. After the workout, we’ll be serving yummy green juice and offering a VIP shopping experience! Hamptons Wellness on Wheels specializes in offering motivating, fun, and strength-building workouts throughout pop-ups all over the Hamptons, and Sara is an amazing certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor who’s passionate at helping her clients be their healthiest and happiest selves.

Saturday, June 25, from 11am-1pm: Brunch Shopping Event with The Purist

Join us for light bites and drinks in-store with the team from Cristina Greeven Cuomo’s brand and publication The Purist! This shopping event will serve as a kick-off to our IG event with the publication the following Monday (see below).

Monday, June 27 at 12pm: In-Store Instagram Live Broadcast with Kathy Kuo & The Purist Founder Cristina Greeven Cuomo

Tune in on IG or in-store for a very special live broadcast with yours truly and my friend Cristina Greeven Cuomo of The Purist! One of my favorite publications for all things wellness, luxe lifestyle trends, and Hamptons happenings, The Purist is “a place of discovery where we report opinion and fact, supported by a staff of dedicated journalists who understand the distinction.” 

All Month Long: Grounded in Gratitude with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation 

Our July 2022 Grounded in Gratitude partner will be the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. The mission of the SWCRF is to “eradicate cancer by funding collaborative cross-institutional research to identify and correct abnormal gene function that cause cancer. This research is the basis for developing minimally toxic treatments for all patients with cancer.” Stay tuned for more details about our Grounded in Gratitude work with this outstanding organization!

Sunday, July 3, from 1-4pm: Celebration of the Lux Magazine 2022 Hot List

Join us for an exclusive celebration of the Lux Magazine 2022 Hot List, hosted by KDHamptons founder Kelli Delany Kot, Lux Magazine founder Colleen Richmond. This garden party will feature artisanal summer bites, cool cocktails, a curated offering of summer’s greatest gifts, as well as a chance to mingle with those on the Hot List. Note: This exclusive event with be held at Maple Shade in Watermill, the residence of Kelli Delaney Kot, and requires an RSVP for entry. July 8-9: In-Store Art Exhibit with Alison Stager

We’re thrilled to be hosting an in-store art exhibit with Sag Harbor-based fine art photographer Alison Stager! Specializing in landscape and seascape images from the Hamptons, Caribbean, Italy, France, and the Arizona Desert (hello–some of my all-time favorite locales!), Alison is a true pro at capturing the the beauty, light, and joy in this world. I can’t wait to feature her work in our Southampton store. 

July 17, 11am-12pm: Join Kathy Kuo at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair

Don’t miss our founder Kathy Kuo appearing on a panel entitled Integrating Art in the Design Process – Using Art to Elevate a Client’s Experience at the Hamptons Fine Art Fair. Presented by Luxe Interiors + Design, this this informative discussion will explore the intersection of fine art and design. July 20, 5-9pm; Holiday House Hamptons Summer 2022 Annual “Coming Together” Tabletop Event at the Topping Rose House

All Month Long: Grounded in Gratitude with the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons

You all know how much of an animal-lover I am, so I am delighted that we’ll be supporting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons for our August Grounded in Gratitude initiative. For all of August 2022, a percentage of sales in-store will go to this local charity supporting our furry friends. Since 1974, the East Hampton-based ARF has been dedicated to the mission of actively rescuing cats and dogs, and providing them quality care and sanctuary until loving forever homes can be found.

Wednesday, August 10: Love Shack Fancy Event with Millstone Flowers

Is there any better combination than fashion and flowers? I think not! That’s why I’m so excited that we’ll be partnering with Love Shack Fancy (one of my fave brands for feminine summer dresses) and Millstone Flowers for a very special end-of-summer soiree. With more details still to be announced, the event will take place on August 10 at the Hamptons home of Millstone Flowers founder Stephanie Lessing. Stay tuned for more details!
