Hi cuties! I know that the actual holiday has come and gone, but I like to think of the month of May as a whole month of celebrating Mother’s Day! I know what you’re thinking—of course as a mama of two amazing tiny humans, I’d love for every day to my special day with them—but what I’m really excited to share with you this month is the scoop on a Mother’s Day panel that I participated in recently, at the Serhant headquarters in Manhattan.
The panel was made up of five NYC Boss Mamas—myself, Elisa Marshall of Maman, Amy Shecter of Ever/Body, Kristen Glosserman of Hill Country, and Tara Rudes Dann of L’Agence—and moderated by the real estate expert and Bravo-lebrity Ryan Serhant.
“It was so inspiring to collaborate with fellow moms and business leaders on this really insightful panel all about entrepreneurship and motherhood—two of my very favorite topics to dive into.”

Kathy’s Favorite #1: Maman
If you’re a busy New York City mom, chances are that you have made an emergency caffeine stop at Maman at some point. Not to mention the fact that their cafes exude a special kind of French country style sophistication…but in the heart of NYC! I truly can’t get enough of their delicious coffee and to-die-for pastries and cookies!
Co-founder and owner of Manan Elisa Marshall—who runs the business with her husband—is the epitome of a chic and design-centered individual and I loved everything she had to say about how she built this business with such a distinct vision and sense of purpose!
Kathy’s Favorite #2: Ever/Body
Before I get into how genius the Ever/Body business is, I have to tell you a little bit more about my fellow panelist Amy Shecter: Amy is the former CEO of Glam Squad (so amazing!) and Ever/Body, which I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz about, is her latest venture. I was so in awe what she had to share about raising kids while also travelling the world as a high-powered CEO!
Ok, so back to Ever/Body! E/B is the latest offering for wholistic and modern skincare treatments that are safe, have science behind them, and are designed to help you simply feel your best in your own skin. Their ethos is all about demystifying cosmetic dermatology and helping their customers achieve their skincare goals. What’s not to love?

Kathy’s Favorite #3: When It’s Not Right, Go Left By Kristen Glosserman
Before I tell you all about my new bestie Kristen Glosserman’s book and life coaching business I have to tell you that you need to stop by one of her and her husband’s Hill Country Barbecue restaurants ASAP if you’ve never been. So delicious, so fun, and perfect for the kids as well…which makes sense since Kristen is a mom of 4!
Not only is Kristen a longtime partner in the Hill Country business with her husband Marc, but she also works every to day to inspire and help others through her business as a life coach and author! After doing this panel with her, I immediately put her book, When It’s Not Right, Go Left: Practical and Inspirational Lessons to Move You in a Positive Direction, on the top of my reading list!
Kathy’s Favorite #4: L’Agence
Any regular Kuotes readers know how much I love fashion! So it was a real treat to have L’Agence fashion director Tara Rudes Dann on the Serhant Mother’s Day panel with me. Tara came into L’Agence through her family business and has done amazing things with that legacy! She also is a loving mama and has an amazing style sense.
